Eco-friendly, self-catering, tree houses offer a secluded, romantic honeymoon destination. A holiday with us will relaunch you on the world relaxed, reinvigorated and rejuvenated Dive into the cola-coloured water of a remote and unspoilt river, picnic on its beautiful banks and explore the deep forested gorge. Or chill out on the wooden deck of our swimming complex perched high on the hill, the converted farm dams are fun for both kids and adults. We are situated along the magical Garden Route in South Africa, at the foothills of the ancient Outeniqua Mountains. Half an hour from Knysna, 15 minutes from Sedgefield. Teniqua Treetops welcomes you to our exclusive, luxury forest getaway. Our self-catering tree houses offer a unique opportunity to sleep, eat and shower up in the canopy of the forest, surrounded by birdsong and butterflies. Built on hand crafted platforms and situated in carefully chosen beauty spots, they have comfortable tented bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and leafy luxury bathrooms. The ultimate romantic holiday or family fun in the sun, come and enjoy.

Teniqua Treetops is an eco-friendly, self-catering tree house resort in the Garden Route of South Africa. Each tree house provides unique accommodation in the indigenous forest. They are all fully equipped and include a kitchen with a microwave, gas cooker, large fridge and a Weber Braai. The bedrooms have electric blankets and heaters for those rare cooler evenings. The bathrooms have either a bath or shower and stunning mountain and gorge views.
There are great walks in the indigenous forest as well as down to the river where there are large pools for swimming. There is also an entertainment area with swimming pools, trampoline, table tennis etc.

The resort is ideal for honeymoon couples or nature-friendly families. The farm is 35 hectares, 25 of which have pristine indigenous forest.

There is a total of 8 tree houses ensuring maximum privacy and tranquility for our guests.

Please be aware that this is a very different experience - rural and very different.

Moon Over Milkwood, Louries Nest, Greenbeard and Gorge View. 4 spectacular, unique honeymoon treehouses. Each has a queen bed, private ensuite sunken bath for 2 on the front deck, fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a combination of modern rustic and antique furniture. Indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Great views, complete privacy, romance, peace and exceptional tranquility.

The Eyrie and Tranquility. Both are ideal for families. They have a queen and a bunk bed in the bedroom as the forest can be dark and scary for young kids. There is a separate lounge area. Tranquility is more enclosed in the forest and has a big ball and claw bath. The Eyrie has a shower and spectacular views. Both have private en-suite bathroom, kitchen and decks

Directions

We are between Knysna and Sedgefield. The route is well sign posted from either the Knysna or Sedgefield direction; follow the Teniqua Treetops Signboards from the N2 turning off the freeway at the Ruigtevlei / Karatara Road. There is one Teniqua Treetops signpost that indicates 9 km and should indicate 11 (eleven) km
