DescriptionPoint Lodge is ideally situated at the edge of the Knysna lagoon. Tranquil water laps at the garden wall at high tide. The sparkling pool is set in a beautiful garden with countless bird species. The welcoming dining room, lounge and ?honesty? bar have spectacular views across the lagoon. Point Lodge was one of the first guest houses in Knysna and has been in operation since 1991. Resident owners Ryk and Amanda and manager Veronica are available to help with your queries. Point Lodge has spectacular views stretching across the lagoon towards the Knysna Heads. The gracious old home has been comfortably decorated and is personally run by Ryk and Amanda Cloete. Accommodation comprises nine en-suite rooms overlooking the lagoon, swimming pool or beautiful gardens. A delicious English Breakfast is served in the sunny dining room. DirectionsDirections from Cape Town: (approx. 5 hrs drive) Take the N2 directly through Wilderness & Sedgefield, approaching Knysna you will see the “Belvidere” sign. Continue straight across the ‘white bridge’... 3 kms from the bridge there is a sign for “The Point” ( B&B ) where you turn off to the right. Turn immediately to the right again & follow signs to “Point Lodge” ( approx. 100m ). Directions from Port Elizabeth: (approx. 2hrs & 30 min drive) Take the N2 directly through Tsitsikamma and past Plettenberg Bay and into Knysna. Through Knysna town on the main road and approx. 2kms from town there is a sign for “The Point” (B&B) where you turn off to the left. Follow the signs to “Point Lodge” ( approx 100m).
