Lagoon Views is a small Guesthouse in Knysna overlooking the beautiful Knysna Lagoon and is personally run by Helga and Keith Raynor.

We are situated in the heart of the famous Garden Route and provide comfortable and affordable accommodation as well as free adventure activities for our Guests.
You can choose either Self-catering or B and B.

We are close to Plettenburg Bay, Mossel Bay, Brenton-on?Sea, Wilderness, Storms River and Oudtshoorn. Highlights in the areas include the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farms, Whale and Dolphin watching, Bungee Jumping. Forest and Coastal Hiking Trails, Mountain Bike trails, beautiful Beaches and numerous Golf Courses.

A fun day on the mountain bikes - that we offer free use of - is just what is needed when you want to keep active and busy on your holiday.

If you enjoy relaxing on the beach and soaking up the suns rays then our free beach equipment is just what you require.

Where?
On Thesen Islands, a private estate of 19 Islands in the Knysna lagoon.

Lagoon View is a self-catering studio flat/apartment on Thesen Islands. Living up to its name, there is a lovely view down the waterway from the deck of the flat. A perfect spot for sundowners!

The Lagoon View is above the free standing garage of a private house on the eastern edge Plantation Island, one of the most peaceful spots on Thesen Islands.

What is offered?
Lagoon view is a fully furnished and equipped self-catering one roomed flat with deck. Bathroom with shower. Kitchenette & dining area. Private entrance.

A private jetty, only metres from Lagoon View, is available for guest's boats.

Thesen Islands offers a lot to the visitor: Walking and cycling, swimming at the beaches and off the jetty (the main beach on Thesen Islands is about 400m away), exploring the parkland, enjoying the bird reserve. There are 2 tennis courts, a squash court and a children's playground.

Thesen Harbour Town in the heart of the old timber factory area and offers shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Knysna town centre is 5 minutes away.

What's provided?

• Double bed with linen, duvet and pillows.
• Double fold out sleeper couch (sofa) with linen on request.
• Kitchen with gas range, microwave, full size refrigerator, electric kettle and toaster.
• Cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
• Towels (Bring your own beach towels).
• Braai (BBQ) (Bring own wood/charcoal).
• TV with video player.
• Boat jetty berth at communal jetty about 30m away. Maximum boat size is 5.5m by 2.3m. Draft less than 0.5m. Slipway for putting in/taking out of boat is 150m away.
• Flat is serviced once a week.
