Inyathi Guest Lodges offer little wooden chalets, each double-bedded chalet superbly finished and decorated with ethnic African arts and crafts from different parts of the continent. All chalets have bathroom en-suite, while most of them have a private verandah as well.
All the chalets have their own private entrance, which, together with the garden setting, gives you the feeling of being in an African village, while actually being in the centre of Knysna.
All chalets have colour TV, coffee and tea making facilities, crisp cotton linen and towels as well as heaters and fans.
A full English breakfast is served from 8.00 to 10.00 (earlier on request). Secure off street parking, honesty bar with M-Net and braai area are on the premises.

Inyathi Guest Lodges is a wonderful retreat for newly weds. A few days at Inyathi ('buffalo' in Xhosa, the local African language) and your idea of a guesthouse will never be the same. History Inyathi Guest Lodges started as an Arts & Crafts Village somewhere around 1997. Great ideas found their realization in this vibrant 'Village', as it was known, but not enough feet.It was after about two years that the then owners of The Village decided to change the concept, and revamp The Village into African style accommodation. Inyathi Guest Village was born! Accommodation ROOMS All our chalets are equipped with colour TV, coffee and tea making facilities, heaters as well as fans. All bathrooms are en-suite, and have a shower or Victorian bath, washbasin and toilet.
Linen as well as towels are provided (but it would be appreciated if you could bring your own beach towel...) and the chalets are serviced daily.
We have hairdryers on request. BREAKFAST | Our breakfast is an experience on its own, with a mix of both English and continental influences.
You'll find your favourite cereals on the buffet, as well as fruit juices, milk, yoghurt, fresh fruit, tea, and most importantly a decent cup of filter coffee! Brown bread, white toast and cheese finalize the continental part of the buffet, while the eggs and bacon complement the English part of breakfast. |

DirectionsInyathi Guest Lodge is conveniently located just off the main road through the centre of Knysna, 493km east of Cape Town and 268km west of Port Elizabeth with the closest airport being in George (75 km).
From George:
Stay on the N2, which changes into Main Road as you drive into Knysna. We're on the left about 400m after the first traffic light, (just after the BP petrol station).
From Plettenberg Bay:
Follow the N2/Main Road all the way through the centre of town. We're on your right just before the BP petrol station.
