Its special location gives the visitor the feeling of being in the countryside, with wonderful views onto the Knysna Lagoon.
Two fully equipped self catering cottages, as well as four modern, stylish and upmarket apartments ? also completely equipped for self catering ? all four apartments and the top cottage look directly down onto the Lagoon. Situated in a quiet cul de sac where there is no passing traffic is definitely a plus.
The apartments are built "loft style " i.e the first bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine floor with large windows which face directly onto the Lagoon. The upstairs bedrooms in each unit have an en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The downstairs bedrooms have a bathroom with a toilet and bath; bathrooms with a bath have pull-out wash lines over the bath, and all bathrooms have heated towel rails for the Winter months.
All units, including the two cottages have a balcony with patio furniture and a Weber BBQ on each . All the apartment balconies have marvellous views onto the Knysna lagoon.
All units ( including the two cottages ) , are fully equipped for self catering ? with hairdryers, fans, heaters, wall safes and filter coffee machines.
Linen and towels are changed regularly and units are serviced daily.
There is an on-premises laundry service ? all laundry is left in the bath and is removed by the cleaning staff where it is then washed and/or ironed as requested.
Safe on-premises parking ? each unit comes with an automatic gate control.
Nine metre swimming pool on the premises for use by our guests.
There is a cookery school on the premises as well ? ideal for spouses who are abandoned for the golf course ? spend an entertaining and informative morning in the cookery school, and take an entire meal back with you !!

"You Look, We Cook" evenings every Wednesday evening ? commencing @ 7.00 pm come and watch Albin & Jenny prepare a mouth watering three course meal, with a pre-dinner shooter of gin, strawberries and lavender???loads of fun and good food! The Light House
The honeymoon suite - one bedroom (queen-sized bed), and one bathroom. Fully equipped for self-catering. Small Romeo and Juliette balcony and small weber BBQ. COTTAGES The Top Cottage AND The Bottom Cottage: - The open-plan kitchen in both the Top and Bottom cottages opens onto the lounge which has a pull-out sleeper couch (double), which sleeps two persons comfortably. The main bedroom in each of the two cottages has built in cupboards, all bed linen, extra blankets etc. provided. Cottages serviced daily in season (no Sundays and public holidays out of season). Towel and linen changes done regularly.
Each main bedroom in the cottages has an en suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Each cottage has its own private patio and weber BBQ. At a dark brown wooden building called LAKESIDE B&B, turn LEFT into LLOYD STREET. Continue up LLOYD STREET which ends at a T junction ? Turn LEFT at the T junction and follow the brown and white sign boards clearly marked " GUADELOUPE S C " all the way to the top of the hill and to our accommodation.
