Situated only 5minutes away for town centre and 4km from the Leisure Isle beach you'll find Abalone Lodges. Not only does Abalone Lodges offer convenient location but also offer breathtaking views of the Estuary and Knysna Heads. These unique wooden units are all self-catering with kitchenette, en-suite bathroom with spa-bath, Television with selected DSTV channels as well as a balcony for those lovely sunsets!

From the mystical Knysna Forest where it is rumoured that the last few free roaming forest elephants in South Africa still wanders, to taking a boat trip out on to the Knysna Estuary which is home to the Knysna Seahorse. Explore the Knysna Heads where the Indian Ocean flows into the estuary and meets up with the Knysna River. A visit to the Millwood Goldmine (off Rheenendal Road), the Old Goal Museum and the Millwood House (in town) will tell you the tales of the town's rich history. Knysna also boasts with world class golf courses, stunning gourmet restaurants; spas's and even a local Beer Brewery! A township tours is also not to be missed! Not to mention all the local annual festivals: Pink Loerie, Pick 'n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival, Rastafarian Earth Festival and Gastronomica!

These unique wooden units are all self-catering with kitchenette, en-suite bathroom with spa-bath, Television with selected DSTV channels as well as a balcony for those lovely sunsets! The more spacious Double Storey Wooden Lodge has an open plan lounge area with kitchen. There are a braai facilities and a communal swimming pool. We can also provide Continental Breakfasts delivered to your room upon request. For a more romantic getaway we also offer various Honeymoon Packages to make your stay that much more memorable.

DIRECTIONS FROM PORT-ELIZABETH: * Follow the N2 to Knysna. * Just before the Volks Wagen & Caltex garage, turn left into George Rex Drive. * Left at the very next street - Bokmakierie Street * Left at the very next street - Dikkop Street. This road leads into Heron's Way and you will find Abalone Lodges on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN: * Follow the N2 to Knysna which leads into the Main Street of Knysna Town. * Continue through Main Street in the direction of Plettenberg Bay. * After the last Caltex garage, turn right into George Rex drive * Left at the very next street - Bokmakierie Street * Left at the very next street - Dikkop Street. This road leads into Heron's Way and you will find Abalone Lodges on the left.
