Quarrywood is an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the Garden Route. Visit the lively town of Knysna with its Waterfront, many arts and crafts shops, flea markets and fine restaurants. Take the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe from Knysna to George and back, or spend the day on one of the nearby beaches. Take a short drive to the historic gold diggings of Millwood, or embark on one of the many wilderness trails in the area. Canoeing safaris on the many waterways, or horse riding can be arranged, and for the golfers beautiful courses can be found at Knysna, George and Plettenberg Bay. DirectionsAll you need to do is take the Rheenendal turnoff 2.2 kms West of Knysna Bridge on the N2 between George and Knysna. 8 kms further on you will see a sign on your right "Highway West". Turn left and follow this gravel road for 3 kms. Quarrywood is at the end of this road and the farm gate will be in front of you. |
